Artscape theatre management and staff wishes to express our absolute joy and elation on the announcement by Health Minister Dr Joe Phaahla that repealed  the severely restrictive regulations imposed to deal with the scourge of the global COVID-19 pandemic. We are particularly thankful that we can now pursue a return to normal with even more invigorated theatre productions, which does justice to the world-class talent that we have as nation.

In the coming month of July we will showcase a host of productions, and we are even more excited that once again this year we will be able to bring you stellar performances to full capacity to celebrate Women’s Month in August as we continue the months ahead with more amazing fare on offer. We sincerely thank all of our patrons who had “held our hand” throughout this trying period as well as those who continued to support the theatre during these difficult times, especially for artists and theatre practitioners.

We would also wish to congratulate the presidential team for the management of the disease.

Let’s get South Africans, all those who live in it and all those who visit it, back in our theatre!!!
