In 1971, the French rugby player Mr Roger Bourgaret visited South Africa and also met with the then head of rugby, Danie Cravengen. Marlene Le Roux and Mr Brougaret, now 76 years old, engaged with an audience of hundreds of artists, community leaders , sports personalities government and municipal officials and NGO’s after the screening of the movie INVICTUS, based on the Rugby World Cup of 1995. The late Tata Madiba played a critical role endeavoring to unify South Africa through rugby. History repeats itself 28 years later again with the RWC 2023 finals between SA and New Zealand, with the ecxeption that this time around we play with a total diverse team of strength and a country fully united behind them.
