Marlene le Roux, CEO of Artscape Theatre Centre, delivered the keynote address at the annual Russel Botman Memorial Lecture 2018. The lecture, was held in honour of the late Prof Russel Botman, former Rector and Vice-Chancellor of Stellenbosch University. The evening commemorated the launch of the Russel Botman Bursary Fund website, the bursary recipients, and concluded with a music performance by the Libertas Choir.

MEC for cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais, Dr Beryl Botman, and CEO of Stigting vir Bemagtiging deur Afrikaans Dr Niel le Roux, were among the distinguished guests in attendance.
