EID MUBARAK TO ALL OUR MUSLIM PATRONS

Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim patrons

As part of the global Muslim community the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr has arrived with the sighting of the new moon.

It has marked the end to the Holy Month of Ramadan – the month in which you as devotees of the Islamic faith observe fast from dawn to dusk in obedience with the decree of Allah.

It is indeed under trying times that Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in South Africa and indeed around the world under the cloud of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of you cannot be with loved ones during these days of your most auspicious occasion due to lockdown regulations.

May you, however, celebrate this joyous day as a reward from Allah to those who spent the past holy month fasting and performing other forms of worship.

As you had commended your day of Eid celebrations with Sadaqatul Fitr to the poor and needy, so that they too may enjoy the day alongside others, and offer your collective Salahs through you worship to the Almighty, may the past month of obtaining and sustaining the moral consciousness of spreading love, compassion and kindness guide all our ways.

Let us re-dedicate our life to the cause of humanity and strengthening a society based on mutual respect, love, and universal understanding as we navigate these trying times.

Wishing you only the best on this most joyous three-day celebration.

Sincerely

Marlene le Roux (CEO) and the Artscape Staff
