The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, is re-launching the Kaapse dans Kaleideskoop #Riel Online as part of the Artscape 50^th Birthday Celebrations

• If you need help with the basics. Check out the, Online, short introductory videos on the basics of, of Riel-, Hip-hop-, Contemporary- and African dance

ALL DANCE GROUPS MUST

1. Submit a 1-minute audition clip showcasing their group dance work (no more than 14 dancers) choreography must include, 50% Riel and 50% of either, African, Hip-Hop and Contemporary dance, along with the, name list of the group before Friday,10 September 2021 @ 16h00.
2. The top 20 finalists will be announced on, 17 September 2021. The Top 20 Finalists will receive training from Professional, dance Specialists in preparation for the Top 10 Dance off, which will be decided by an online public vote
3. The Top 10 groups will be announced on 30 September 2021 and invited to perform at the “Dance E-volution” show, in February 2022, where the 3 winning groups will be announced, and prizes awarded
4. Closing date;  Send the completed name list; with your 1-minute video, no later than, Monday, 10 September 2021 @16h00 to, raymond.dreyers@westerncape.gov.za
