Young Musicians Invited to Audition
Artscape and the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) will host the 41st Western Cape Youth Music Festival on 18 August 2012 at the Artscape Theatre.
Young singers and solo instrumentalists in the Western Cape that perform classical music are invited to register for auditions for this prestigious event.
There will be two auditions where a panel of adjudicators will select a handful of singers and solo instrumentalists to perform with the CPO at the festival. The first auditions will take place on Wednesday 9 May 2012 at the Conservatoire in Stellenbosch, followed by another opportunity on Thursday 10 May 2012 at the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town.
