Artscape extends its gratitude to patrons who have participated in
two surveys, conducted by students of the Vlerick Leuven Gent
Management School in Belgium as part of their Master of Business
Administration studies.
The surveys investigated customer services and the artistic presentation at the Artscape Theatre Centre.
Eighteen patrons whose names were randomly drawn from the completed
questionnaires have won double tickets to any show of their choice until
the end of August. The winners have been informed via e-mail.
The salient features of the customer service survey was that the
majority of patrons are satisfied with Artscape’s service, but they
wanted an improvement in bar and restaurant services.
The second survey has found that 70% of Artscape’s patrons are older
than 36-years old, 65% are female and 70% visit the Artscape Theatre
Centre multiple times per year. Other findings are that females love
ballet and modern dance more than males, and males love pop and jazz
music more than females. The gender split for musicals, theatre and
symphonic concert is equal.
Both reports have been submitted to Artscape. Management will study
these and implement strategies to address shortcomings at the
institution.
