Ballet Repertoire Competition
Start DateJun 10 2018
Whether you’re a young ballet student, in full-time training or are a seasoned professional, the benefits of ballet competitions are numerous. Hence, there is a ballet competition for every age and every level of dancer, all over the world!
The THEATRE DANCE ASSOCIATION saw the need to build the sector in our City and to provide an elevated platform for dancers to gain more experience before they compete at an International level. Committed to contributing to the general development of vocational dance and to support any opportunity to invest in the future of young dancers, the TDA launched the first BALLET REPERTOIRE COMPETITION in 2017 in Cape Town at the Artscape Theatre. With 46 competitors from all over South Africa, it was an overwhelming success! We hope to duplicate the experience this year!
